Present Indefinite Tense কাকে বলে

Present indefinite tense/ simple tense –(সাধারণ বতর্মান কাল) : যে সময়ে বা যে কালে কোন কাজ বা ঘটনা সাধারণভাবে ঘটে থাকে বা সম্পন্ন হয়ে থাকে তাকে Present indefinite tense/ simple tense –(সাধারণ বতর্মান কাল) বলে ।
( A present tense that denotes the time of an action of a verb in present time or an event or on universal or historical or scientific truth or habitual or near future is called Present indefinite / simple tense. )

এখানে উল্লেখ্য যে, কোন কাজ বা ঘটনা যদি চিরন্তন সত্য বা অভ্যাসগত বা বৈজ্ঞানিক সত্য বা ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনা বা নিকটতম ভবিষৎ বুঝায়, তাহলে ইহা সবর্দা Present indefinite tense / simple tense –(সাধারণ বতর্মান কাল ) হয় । যেমন:

For example-(উদাহরণ ) :

• Mother loves me very much. -মা আমাকে খুব ভালবাসে ।………( সাধারণ ঘটনা )
• I love my mother very much. -আমি আমার মাকে খুব ভালবাসি ।…………(.সাধারণ ঘটনা )
• The earth moves round the Sun.- পৃথিবী সূর্যের চারি দিকে ঘুরে ।……..(.চিরন্তন সত্য )
• My mother recites the holy Quran every day morning.-প্রতিদিন সকালে আমার মা পবিত্র কোরান শরীফ তেলওয়াত করেন ।……….(..অভ্যাসগত )
• Water freezes into ice.- পানি জমে বরফ হয় ।……………(.বৈজ্ঞানিক সত্য.)
• Nawab Siraj Doula defeats in the battle of Palashi.-নবাব সিরাজ-উদ্-দৌলা পলাশী যুদ্ধে পরাজিত হন ।…………(.ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনা )
• Karim comes tomorrow.- করিম আগামীকাল আসছে ।……………( নিকটতম ভবিষৎ )

Grammar explanation : Subject third person singular হলে মূল verb (V1) এর সাথে “s” / “es” যোগ হয ।

Present indefinite tense/simple tense  এর কাঠামা ( Structure ):

• For affirmative sentence: Subject + Base form verb (V1) + Object/extension.
• For negative sentence: Subject + Auxiliary verb + not + Base form verb (V1) + Object /extension.

For example-(উদাহরণ ) :

• I eat rice.- আমি ভাত খাই । …………….(Affirmative sentence)
• I do not eat rice.-আমি ভাত খাই না ।…………(Negative sentence )
• He does not eat rice.-সে ভাত খায় না ।…………( Negative sentence )
• He is not a good boy.-সে ভাল ছেলে না ।…………..( Negative sentence )
